How Eat Well Live Well / NourisHer collects, uses, protects and manages personal data
Eat Well Live Well / NourisHer ("Eat Well Live Well", "we", "us" or "our") is committed to handling personal data responsibly. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, store, protect and manage personal data when you visit eatwelllivewell.in, submit an enquiry or application, book a consultation, purchase or participate in coaching, attend classes, use a client portal, communicate with us, or otherwise use our services.
This Policy is prepared with reference to the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Rules, 2025, as brought into force from time to time, together with other applicable Indian laws. It should be read alongside our Terms and Conditions and any programme-specific notices.
1. Who We Are and How to Contact Us
The Services are offered under the Eat Well Live Well and NourisHer brands by Eat Well Live Well, a registered sole proprietorship owned and operated by Sushma Subramaniam. Sushma uses the professional name Sushma Rams in her coaching practice and on social media.

2. Personal Data We May Collect
The personal data we collect depends on how you interact with us and which Services you use. We aim to collect only information that is reasonably necessary for the relevant purpose.
Identity and contact information
- Name, age or age range, email address, phone/WhatsApp number, city or location information and preferred contact details.
- Information you submit through enquiry, application, registration or booking forms.
Coaching, wellness and lifestyle information
- Goals, habits, routines, nutrition patterns, food preferences, activity and exercise information, sleep, stress, recovery, energy and lifestyle information.
- Weight, body measurements, progress records, check-ins, photographs or other progress information that you choose to provide.
- Information about symptoms, menstrual or menopause-related experiences, medical history, medications, injuries, laboratory reports or other health-related information that you voluntarily provide and that is relevant to safe or effective coaching.
- Reflections, coaching notes, messages, action plans, accountability records and programme participation information.
Transaction and programme information
- Programme selected, enrolment status, attendance, appointments, payment status, invoices, transaction references and refund records.
- We generally do not receive or store full payment-card or banking credentials where payment is processed directly by a third-party payment provider.
Website and technical information
- IP address, browser or device information, pages viewed, approximate location derived from technical data, referral source, and cookie or analytics information where our Website or providers collect it.
- Client-portal login, account and security information where portal access is provided.
Communications and media
- Emails, WhatsApp messages, call or session scheduling information and other communications with us.
- Testimonials, photographs, videos, audio or before-and-after material only where you choose to provide them. Public marketing use of identifiable material is subject to appropriate permission or consent.
3. How We Collect Personal Data
We may collect personal data directly from you when you complete a form, contact us, attend a clarity or coaching call, enrol, make payment, participate in a programme, use a client portal, submit a check-in, attend a class or communicate with us.
We may also receive limited personal data from service providers used to operate the business, such as payment processors, scheduling tools, website or form providers, client-management platforms, analytics providers, email or messaging platforms and video-conferencing services.
Where reasonable and practicable, we will collect information directly from you.
4. Why We Use Personal Data
We may use personal data for the following purposes, where permitted by applicable law:
- responding to enquiries and applications and deciding whether a coaching Service appears suitable;
- booking consultations, processing enrolment and administering payments, invoices, instalments, cancellations and refunds;
- delivering and personalising coaching, educational content, fitness sessions, accountability and programme support;
- understanding goals, tracking progress and maintaining coaching or participation records;
- supporting safe participation and identifying when a matter may need referral to an appropriately qualified healthcare professional;
- communicating about sessions, schedules, programme changes, account matters and other service-related information;
- providing and securing client-portal or online account access;
- improving our programmes, website, service quality and client experience, including through aggregated or de-identified analysis where appropriate;
- maintaining business, accounting, tax, compliance and dispute-resolution records;
- protecting the security, integrity and lawful use of our Website and Services;
- sending marketing or promotional communications where you have consented or where otherwise permitted by applicable law, with an available opt-out mechanism; and
- complying with legal obligations and responding to lawful requests.
5. Health and Other Personal Information Used in Coaching
Wellness coaching can involve personal information about health, symptoms, lifestyle, body measurements, nutrition, sleep, exercise and personal goals. We use such information only for legitimate coaching, safety, administration and related purposes that are reasonably connected with the Services you request.
Please provide only information that you are comfortable sharing and that is relevant to the coaching relationship. Eat Well Live Well is not an emergency or medical-record service and the client portal is not a medical monitoring system.
We will not sell health or coaching information to third parties.
6. Consent and Your Choices
Where consent is the basis for processing, we will seek consent that is reasonably clear and linked to the stated purpose. You may withdraw consent for future processing where applicable. Withdrawal does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal.
You may opt out of marketing communications at any time using the available unsubscribe mechanism or by contacting us.
If you withdraw consent for information that is necessary to deliver or safely administer an ongoing Service, we may be unable to continue providing some or all of that Service.
Where practicable, consent for public marketing use of an identifiable testimonial, photograph, video, health story or before-and-after material will be obtained separately from consent required to deliver coaching.
7. When We Share Personal Data
We do not sell personal data. We may share personal data only where reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, where you have asked us to do so, or where disclosure is required or authorised by law.
Recipients may include:
- payment processors and banking/payment service providers;
- website hosting, domain, cloud-storage and IT service providers;
- online form, scheduling, client-management or client-portal providers;
- email, WhatsApp/messaging, video-conferencing and communication providers;
- accounting, legal, tax, insurance or professional advisers where reasonably necessary;
- contractors, coaches or service personnel who need the information to provide or administer the relevant Service and who are subject to appropriate confidentiality obligations; and
- government, regulatory, judicial or law-enforcement authorities where disclosure is lawfully required.
Third-party providers process information under their own service terms and privacy practices. We seek to use reputable providers and limit disclosure to information reasonably needed for the service.
8. International Processing and Service Providers
Some technology or communication providers may store or process data outside India. Where this occurs, we will handle such use in accordance with applicable Indian data-protection requirements, including any restrictions or conditions on cross-border processing that may be notified from time to time.

11. Data Retention
We retain personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, to provide and administer Services, maintain legitimate business and financial records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, meet legal requirements or establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
Different categories of information may be retained for different periods. When information is no longer reasonably required, we will take reasonable steps to delete, destroy, anonymise or de-identify it, subject to lawful retention needs.
Retention periods are determined according to the purpose of collection, the duration of the coaching relationship, legitimate record-keeping needs and applicable legal, tax and accounting requirements. Eat Well Live Well will periodically review retained information and delete or de-identify information that is no longer reasonably required.

- request correction, completion or updating of inaccurate or incomplete personal data;

- raise a grievance regarding our handling of personal data; and
- nominate another individual to exercise applicable rights in the event of death or incapacity, where provided by law.
To protect your information, we may ask for reasonable verification before acting on a request. We will handle requests within the time and manner required by applicable law.

Eat Well Live Well's coaching Services are intended for adults aged 18 years and above unless a specific Service expressly states otherwise. We do not knowingly offer the standard NourisHer coaching Services to children.
If we learn that personal data of a child has been collected in circumstances requiring parental or guardian consent or other protections, we will take appropriate steps in accordance with applicable law.

Our Website or programme materials may contain links to third-party websites, tools or resources. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of independent third parties. Please review their privacy notices before providing personal data to them.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our Services, technology, providers, business practices or legal requirements. The current version will be posted on the Website.
